The secret to motivating employee really isn’t a secret. You must first develop relationship of trust. This is accomplished by treating them respect and showing true genuine interest in them. Once you have established you’re a person of integrity the guards come down and the employees will basically motivate themselves because you demonstrated they are a valued individual and employee. In short, you must first address the individual before you can jump to motivating the employee. If you miss the first step you will be continually attempting to motivate them.  Take the first step first and all you have to do in continue to show genuine interest and value.
